Imaging Concepts has been committed to supporting charities and other organizations in our communities, both regionally and nationally, that will positively make an impact in people’s lives. We want to help people on many levels, through education, through healthcare, through civic endeavor, and in the most fundamental of ways such as food, clothing, and shelter. Each year our amazing staff helps us make “giving back to our communities” a privilege.
This year, Imaging Concepts will continue its role as a good corporate citizen. Below are a few of the organizations we help sponsor with contributions of time, money, and equipment.
National Multiple Sclerosis Society
The National MS Society is a collective of passionate individuals who want to do something about MS now—to move together toward a world free of multiple sclerosis. MS stops people from moving. They exist to make sure it doesn't. The society helps each person address the challenges of living with MS through our 50-state network of chapters. The Society helps people affected by MS by funding cutting-edge research, driving change through advocacy, facilitating professional education, and providing programs and services that help people with MS and their families move their lives forward.
Make-A-Wish
Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation® has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work. The Foundation's mission reflects the life-changing impact that a Make-A-Wish® experience has on children, families, referral sources, donors, sponsors and entire communities.
Volunteers of America
Volunteers of America is a national, nonprofit, faith-based organization dedicated to helping those in need rebuild their lives and reach their full potential. Through thousands of human service programs, including housing and healthcare, Volunteers of America helps more than 2 million people in over 400 communities in 44 states. Since 1896, their ministry of service has supported and empowered America's most vulnerable groups, including at-risk youth, the frail elderly, men and women returning from prison, homeless individuals and families, people with disabilities, and those recovering from addictions. Our work touches the mind, body, heart — and ultimately the spirit — of those we serve, integrating our deep compassion with highly effective programs and services.
International Rescue Committee
One of the first to respond, one of the last to leave. For 75 years, the International Rescue Committee has been a leader in humanitarian relief. They mobilize quickly, bringing sustained support to regions torn apart by violence and deprivation. They provide a fresh start in the U.S. for refugees. And we advocate tirelessly on behalf of the displaced, addressing the root causes of violence and standing up for the world’s most vulnerable populations
Imaging Concepts is committed to helping communities reach their set goals in order to improve the quality of people’s lives, as well as the environment we all live in.
Simply, we care about those we serve, and of people in general, hoping to make a real difference.
Green Products
Our partnerships with our manufacturers addresses many key areas of concern, including environmental sustainability. Together, our approach to “greening our products and processes” has evolved to practical applications that we are proud of. Many of our products have been recognized with numerous independent third party awards and ratings, including praise for environmental awareness and superior sustainability performance. In our pursuit of ecological awareness, addressed through our company and communities at large, we are setting goals and milestones in hopes of making a reduction of environmental burdens in our business activities.
Imaging Concepts will strive to fulfill this “green” responsibility while customers will come to realize that product performance will help them to become more efficient, and will indicate a decline in operating costs in favor of a rise in bottom line profitability.
Organizations are globally aligned when it comes to “saving the planet” and wanting to adopt better methods to do so. Konica Minolta has made the environment a key driver of its business today. This means placing environment at the very heart of their product design process. They take part in this vital movement by making a commitment to provide products and services that take into account our need for low-impact living, in the hope of leaving a “softer footprint.” By providing and adopting practical information on how to conserve supplies and convert our workflow methods, companies today are dedicated to lessening CO2 emissions as well as water and energy consumption dependent on electricity, gas and fuel oil.
Many of our manufactured products lead the industry in environmental performance and are classified as “Green.” These products represent a pioneering shift to advance sustainability, and is in line with our management philosophy that calls for a contribution to our customers, our community, and our society.
